The formal launch of the Elizabeth Reid Network in South Australia, along with an opportunity to catchup with women staffers from across the country.
For 10 years the Elizabeth Reid Network has been supporting current and former women staffers to strengthen career pathways and ensure women have key roles in shaping a better, fairer Australia.
Our newly elected Party President, Kate Ellis, is a prime example of where an early start as an ALP staffer can take you. But there are many more who have trod the staffer boards at state, territory and federal level and then gone on to do great things. Some of them even come back for another go!
With a special address from Federal Minister for Early Childhood Education, The Hon. Senator Dr Jess Walsh, this event will inspire you to build your professional network, skills and opportunities through the Elizabeth Reid Network – and maintain those connections after you move on to other roles.
You will also hear about the annual $10,000 Scholarship offered by the Elizabeth Reid Network to current staffers and what it can do to help boost your career.
Come along whether you’re a current or former woman staffer – and male supporters welcome as well!
