Manufactured Housing (aka “modular”, “prefab” and “Modern Methods of Construction”) presents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to meet our housing supply challenge while reindustrialising the Australian economy, lifting productivity, creating tens of thousands of good union jobs, and saving money for homebuyers and governments alike. 

Join Minister for Housing the Hon. Clare O’Neil MP for the launch of the John Curtin Research Centre’s groundbreaking new report, Manufacturing Homes: A National Strategy for Solving Australia’s Housing Crisis, followed by a panel discussion with Minister O’Neil, report co-author and JCRC Chief Economist Lachlan Kerwood-McCall, IndustryEdge’s Tim Woods and National Secretary of the Timber, Furnishing and Textiles Union Michael O’Connor.
