Join Hon Linda Burney in conversation about Indigenous Health in a panel chaired by Marcus Stewart AM, and featuring Dr Gordon Reid MP and Tanya McGregor, CEO of the Aboriginal Health Council of South Australia.

In 2025, Linda Burney was appointed the inaugural Chair of the First Nations Pharmacy Network. Under her leadership, the Network supports collaboration across the community pharmacy sector to improve access to medicines, build workforce capability and contribute to Closing the Gap health measures.
The panel will discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with delivery healthcare in regional and remote Indigenous communities, how to ensure First Nations people have access to culturally safe care, how recent health and medicines policy reforms have impacted First Nations communities, and the need to build, protect, and fund a culturally safe healthcare workforce.
Community pharmacies play a vital role as trusted points of care – places where relationships are built, knowledge is shared and people are supported to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing. The First Nations Pharmacy Network seeks to ensure every pharmacy can be a place of cultural connection, respect, and healing for First Nations communities.
